Vlada has been a hit since opening its doors in 2006. The late Michael Chase (former window stylist of Barney’s) has created a smart and modish interior for this two-level gay bar in Hell’s Kitchen where Broadway chorus boys, downtown hipsters, Chelsea muscle queens and daddies with deep pockets all converge. The place remains relatively free of pomp and offers over a dozen infused vodkas—the house specialty, some flavors more exotic than others—served as a shot and making a tasty addition to any drink order. Vlada is a pivotal stop for any boys night out in Hell’s Kitchen.
